EDAWN Mission Statement
EDAWN is a private/public partnership committed to recruiting and expanding quality companies that have a positive economic impact on the quality of life in the Greater Reno-Tahoe region.

- Region: A diversified, resilient regional economy comprised of primary businesses that contribute positive economic impact.
- Organization: A world-class economic development organization with strong local partnerships, regional respect and cooperation and a national reputation for innovation and creativity.
EDAWN Economic Impact
By 2012 EDAWN will generate $200 million per year in high yield economic impact comprised of companies who meet the Economic Development Plus criteria.
Center of Excellence
By 2012 Greater Reno/Tahoe will be recognized in some national media as a center of excellence in at least one of the six target industry areas.
BHAG Support and Community Development
Also, we will establish and promote key strategic goals to accomplish this; i.e.: Lead Generation, Workforce Network, Branding/Marketing, and other areas as may be determined from time to time.
Customer Service
A system will be devised to continue to provide outstanding customer service to those companies that do not meet the Economic Development Plus Criteria through partnerships, self-serve online options and a virtual "express lane".
