The Annual Governor’s Industry Appreciation Awards Dinner, co-hosted by EDAWN and the Northern Nevada Development Authority, recognizes new companies that have moved their businesses to Greater Reno-Tahoe and acknowledges existing companies for their substantial growth. Eight-hundred to one-thousand community leaders are expected to attend.
The evening begins with a brief cocktail reception, followed by dinner, the introduction of the honoree companies with brief remarks by the Governor, and finally a special guest speaker. Highlights for this year’s dinner include the presentation of the Distinguished Business Award, honoree company introductions and a special guest speaker. And, don’t miss special guest host of the evening, Nevada Governor, Jim Gibbons as he presents the Distinguished Business of the Year award to one deserving company.
