2007-2008 Phase 2 Business Builder Report
The report summarizes the opinions of key executives in the business & financial services, life sciences and software industries regarding key business indicators. Each industry sector will be discussed separately in order to provide an understanding of the business environment for each.
The purpose of the reports is to provide a snapshot of how key business sectors are faring in our local economy. All previous reports are available on EDAWN’s Web site at www.edawn.org.
A total of 45 executives were interviewed between February 1, 2008 and June 20, 2008. Overall these executives are forecasting continued growth and success for their companies within the Greater Reno- Tahoe region.
Data shows 19 of the companies interviewed are headquarter operations within the region. Twenty fi ve companies indicated planned expansions in the next three years, however only 20 provided actual estimates.
