Interested in learning where a handful of Burning Man installations are created? The Generator is an inclusive art space, maker space, and community space in greater Reno/Sparks and is available for use for anyone who wants to make art and be part of a creative community. Entrepreneurial Events 

The Grow with Google Event took place at the Nevada Museum of Art, on August 6th. The event was free and open to the public and individuals had the opportunity to learn new skills and utilize Google tools to help grow their skills, career or business. If you missed it, many of these learning tools are available online.
The NCET Small Business Expo is Friday, September 28th. Come stop by our booth and say hello, and network with people and organizations to help grow your business.
1 Million Cups – Every Wednesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Innevation Center.

Startup of the Month

GroupGets empowers users to securely join or organize group buys for any existing product. GroupGets help bring backers together, then securely handle collection, purchasing, and shipping. The company has been supplying high tech thermal cameras to UNR’s Intelligent Mobility Lab, are getting ready to ship 1600 audio loggers for conservation research and recently kicked off a partnership with    SparkFun electronics  to help hardware enthusiasts get their products to market faster.
