RENO, Nev. (Jan. 22, 2015)Hose Master, today announced the opening of a new advanced manufacturing plant that fabricates flexible, metal hoses in Sparks, Nevada  with plans to bring up to thirty jobs to Northern Nevada and be operational by April 2015. The announcement took place at the EDAWN Community Luncheon & Economic Update held at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa.

Hose Master manufactures and fabricates custom, high quality, hose assemblies and expansion joints that are used in a variety of applications. The company originally opened its doors in 1982 and was the first hose company in the United States to be ISO certified. The company has additional manufacturing sites in Cleveland, OH, Houston, TX and Atlanta, GA. Hose Master’s success has come from its unique ability to create custom products specifically designed for each application, and deliver them quickly. Opening a plant in Northern Nevada is an important step in this strategy.

Anthony Foti, Executive Vice President remarked, “The new Sparks plant allows us to be strategically located to better meet the demands of our West Coast customers and help us to grow our business. Lower operating costs and a business-friendly environment were also key factors in our decision to move to Northern Nevada.”

Hose Master’s expansion in the Reno-Sparks market is exciting and a confirmation that this region is a great place for business.  It is important to attract national companies like Hose Master as they grow, because they add to the diversification of the region and support the growing realization across the country that Reno-Sparks is the advanced manufacturing hub of the West.

This company announcement coincided with EDAWN’s annual Community Luncheon and Economic Update which was celebrated by more than 300 guests, elected officials, local business leaders and business partners.
