CustomInk to Open Reno Location
CustomInk, the "design online" custom t-shirt company, today announced it will open a new location in Reno, Nevada. The new facility will occupy 25,000 square feet in the Capital Commerce Center. Operations at the new location will include customer service, pre-production services, logistics and production. CustomInk expects to hire 75 to 100 people in the first year of Reno operations.

Three New and Expanding Companies Invest in Greater Reno-Tahoe Economy Creating 39 New Jobs
The Reno-Sparks unemployment rate continues to lag at 13 percent (July 2011), yet 39 new jobs are coming online thanks to three companies that announced they are relocating to and expanding in the Greater Reno-Tahoe region. According to EDAWN and key community partners that assisted the companies, the jobs are skilled positions in manufacturing, logistics and business and financial services and represent an estimated annual economic impact of $7,027,589.

International Health Food and Nutritional Product Manufacturer Expands West Coast Dist. & Manufacturing Operation in Sparks
An international manufacturer of health food and nutritional supplements has announced it is expanding its distribution center in Sparks, by building a 130,000 square foot facility to house its expanded west coast distribution and manufacturing operation at 575 Vista Boulevard. NOW Foods, a manufacturer of dietary supplements, sports nutrition, personal care and beauty products and nutritional foods based in Bloomingdale, Ill., will add 10 new jobs as part of its first phase company expansion in early 2012, which will include its distribution facility. The manufacturing facility will be brought online in a second phase.
