RENO, Nev. (July 1, 2014) – The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) announces BeaverFit’s decision to base U.S. headquarters in Incline Village, Nevada.

“Incline Village, and Nevada in general, provide an incredible opportunity and launching pad for our business in North America”, stated Alex Roodhouse, one of the co-founders and owners of BeaverFit’s North American entity.  “Incline is an outdoor paradise, allowing our executives and employees an incredibly high quality of life:  skiing in the winter, and paddle-boarding, biking and hiking in the summer”.  The close proximity to Reno made Incline the ideal headquarters for BeaverFit, as they rely on Reno for steel manufacturing and product assembly, and as a logistical hub to ship their products to military customers around the world.  “We will continue to expand our operations in Incline and Reno, and hope to be a strong employer for Nevadans for years to come”

“We are excited to see companies like BeaverFit decide to grow in our region,” said Mike Kazmierski, CEO of EDAWN.  “The superb quality of life here was a major     factor in their decision and given our incredible outdoor recreational opportunities, I would expect to see continued growth in the sports and fitness industry here,” he said.
