RENO, Nevada (August 12, 2020) – The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) announced four new companies to the Northern Nevada region at a live-stream press conference held today. More than 600 jobs will be created including blockchain software development, business development, engineering, marketing, warehouse operations, career consulting, and more. Diverse industry sectors and the quality jobs they bring are key factors toward strengthening and rebuilding the region’s economy. The relocation of three corporate headquarters is a testimony to the advantages of conducting business in Northern Nevada and the long-term commitment from these fast-growing companies.
Discover Podium
Discover Podium is a technology-driven SAAs company whose platform is dedicated to delivering career advancement solutions for leaders in transition. The company expects to double its staff over the next year and is projected to reach 300 employees over the next five years at an average wage of $80,000. The new Reno distribution facility will have 50 employees at build-out and is expected to be operational in September.
