The BRE&W team visited 20 companies in November and assisted 9 of them. The majority (17) reported growth in the coming year. Other community meetings included High Sierra Industries, which provides workforce solutions for light manufacturing and assembly, grounds maintenance and landscaping, and harness and wiring applications. Tapping into the workforce at HSI is one way that businesses throughout northern Nevada can access a reliable source of workers that deliver quality results, and can also help provide opportunities and independence to those with disabilities.

Graduate from High School Career Ready! What’s a great fast track to a job and career for high school students that aren’t planning to go on to pursue a four year degree? TMCC’s Technical Pathway is a dual-credit system which allows students to add technical coursework to their curriculum and graduate with a high school diploma and a college certificate of achievement at the same time.
