There is a major communal effort in Reno to propel the local art scene forward. Artists are doing this through shared ideas and spaces, creative collaborations and experimentation. As our local artists come together, they’re also building spaces that draw the entire city together through community art spaces, local art events and workshops. To learn more, you can check out this latest blog on the Rethink Reno website.
EDAWN’s Non-Profit Foundation is working with the Washoe County School District to launch the 2nd phase of “Design a Taxi-Top” campaign which engages WCSD K-12 students. These efforts provide an important perspective from our young adults and encourages them to engage in improving the image of our community and support the ongoing efforts to re-brand the region. Please contact Tamera Pitts or call 775.829.3700 to sponsor a taxi-top.
