EDAWN Celebrates Northern Nevada’s 2025 Economic Momentum at Second Annual Celebration of Business & Industry

(RENO, NV, December 5, 2025) – The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) hosted its second annual Celebration of Business & Industry in Northern Nevada last night at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino, bringing together more than 500 business and community leaders for an evening recognizing the companies driving the region’s economic progress and industry leadership.

This year’s program honored 26 new or expanding Primary Companies that invested in Northern Nevada in 2025 bringing over 600 jobs and $327 million in capital expenditures, along with 14 established Primary Companies that continue to operate, grow, and contribute to the regional economy. Representing industries such as advanced manufacturing, engineering, transportation and logistics, and technology, these export-oriented employers play a central role in fueling economic growth, strengthening competitive advantage, and supporting local job creation.

The 2025 honorees advanced efforts that included new facilities, expanded operations, increased hiring, and strategic investment, as well as growth within the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. These efforts support job creation, attract outside investment, and reinforce Northern Nevada’s position as a competitive location for business expansion and opportunity.

“These businesses tell a powerful story about where Northern Nevada is today,” said Taylor Adams, EDAWN President and CEO. “When you put together the companies that have been committed to this region for years with those who are just joining the story, you see a region that’s not only growing, but thriving. Their investments reflect real confidence in this community and real momentum behind everything that is happening here.”

The evening included a formal program highlighting achievements from this year’s honorees, followed by a networking reception with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Attendees included executives from recognized companies, elected officials, community partners, and EDAWN investors.

By honoring companies that are new to the region as well as those that have been here for years, the event emphasized the importance of business retention, industry diversification, and sustainable investment and the role these priorities will continue to play in EDAWN’s work in the years to come.
