EDAWN’s Community Events
EDAWN hosts our annual “Celebration of Business & Industry in Northern Nevada” (COBINN) to honor businesses and individuals who have made significant contributions to our regional economy. This event hosts over 600 business/community members and celebrates new, expanding, and existing industries that foster a thriving economic ecosystem reinforcing the importance of local businesses in the community’s overall prosperity.
Nominations for our 2026 event will open in October.

EDAWN’s annual “State of the Economy in Northern Nevada” (SOE) Economic Update Luncheon takes place at the beginning of each year and brings together more than 1,500 business and community leaders. The event features presentations from Brian Gordon, Principal at Applied Analysis, who provides a national and regional economic outlook, and Taylor Adams, EDAWN’s President and CEO, who shares updates on Northern Nevada’s progress over the past year, including new companies, job growth, and opportunities to expect in the year ahead.
