We are deeply saddened by the loss of a great entrepreneurial influence in our community, John Moran. 

John was a lifelong learner who was passionate about education and entrepreneurship. He lead Entrepreneurs Assembly for many years as Executive Director and Board Chairman. To read his obituary, click here.

 

Sparks startup, Corcom.io, announces two ICOs and its alpha matrix launch.

NanoJems is happy to announce that Corcom.io- currently accelerating projects such as NanoJems, The PUSH, LunarGolf, UrlyWhirly, and MushMap, is in its 4th investment round and has scheduled two upcoming ICOS. Learn more here.

1 Million Cups is a free national event designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs through weekly presentations. 1MC will now be at the Innevation Center located at 450 Sinclair St, here in Reno Wednesdays at 9:00am.

Startup of the Month

Peep No More is the first and only hands-free, automatic occupancy indicator for public restroom stalls. Peep No More is a Reno-born company founded by Ms. Joey Mares, a graduate of UNR. 

The signs are specifically designed for increasing traffic flow in high volume public venues including stadiums, airports, convention centers and other large public facilities.

Peep No More is now installed locally at Greater Nevada Field, The National Bowling Stadium, Mackay Stadium and Discovery Museum as well as in other well known public venues including Harrahs & Harveys in South Lake Tahoe, AT&T Park, Levi Stadium, and in over 39 Live Nation venues across the country.

The company is a Certified Women’s Business Enterprise and a winner on Dream Big America. This year Peep No More won NCET’s Microenterprise Company of the Year.
